Additional Resources

Why choose a knee scooter instead of crutches?

It offers hands-free stability, easier steering, and greater comfort than traditional crutches, especially for longer recovery periods.

Is it safe to use on slopes or outdoors?

Yes—the steerable front wheels and dual locking hand brakes provide control on inclines and stability across many outdoor surfaces.

Will the knee pad be comfortable for daily use?

Yes—the oversized padded platform reduces pressure on the leg and adjusts in height and side offset for a custom, supportive fit.

How portable is it for travel or storage?

It folds down compactly and weighs only 26 lbs, making it easy to lift into a car or store when not in use.

What is the weight capacity and height range?

It supports up to 300 lbs and fits users between 5’2” and 6’4”, covering most adults who need non-weight-bearing support.

Who is this best suited for?

It’s ideal for people recovering from foot or ankle surgery, fractures, or injuries who want a more mobile, independent alternative to crutches.

I have had the best experience with Alpine Home Medical. My replacement hoses arrive in a timely manner. The people I have talked to on the phone are very pleasant and helpful. I didn't have to ask about maintenance on my oxygen tank. They called me and told me that it was time to do the maintenance . When they did come to do the maintenance they were here promptly and they were quick. I would highly recommend Alpine 5 stars just doesn't give them justice. Thank you Alpine, for your service.

In my opinion the staff of people at Alpine home medical really know they're business, they are polite and are willing and happy to take care of customers my experience was a great one, I also saw Stephanie and Jaylynn at the Richfield utah office, not only did they answer anything I asked they seemed anxious to assist any customer that walked in, in my opinion, they are professionals and dress and act as such
