Additional Resources

What makes this cushion different from other coccyx cushions?

This cushion combines premium memory foam with a U-shaped coccyx cutout for targeted tailbone relief. The velour cover adds softness, while the non-skid base ensures stability—making it more supportive and durable than many standard foam cushions.

Who should consider buying a coccyx cushion like this one?

It’s ideal for anyone experiencing tailbone pain, lower back discomfort, or recovering from injury or surgery. Office workers, drivers, wheelchair users, and students who sit for long periods will especially benefit.

Is this cushion comfortable for daily or long-term use?

Yes. The memory foam molds to your body, reducing pressure points while supporting posture. It’s designed for long sitting sessions, helping prevent stiffness, soreness, and circulation issues.

Where can I use this cushion for the best results?

This cushion works on most seating surfaces, including office chairs, car seats, wheelchairs, dining chairs, and even stadium seats. The portable design with a carry strap makes it easy to bring anywhere.

How easy is it to clean and maintain this cushion?

The removable velour cover is machine washable for easy care. The foam insert can be spot-cleaned with mild soap and water, then air-dried to preserve shape and support.

Why is investing in a memory foam coccyx cushion worthwhile?

By relieving pressure on the spine and tailbone, this cushion not only provides immediate comfort but also supports long-term spinal health. It’s a cost-effective way to improve sitting comfort at home, at work, or on the go.

Excellent service. Dru was extremely helpful in explaining the equipment, the settings, what the settings mean and the importance or significance of each setting. Being able to see the equipment first hand allowed me to make an informed decision on the style of equipment that I felt would work for me and Dru's experience in explaining the pros and cons of each each style was essential. Being able to ask questions and get knowledgeable feedback, being fitted for size and having a dry run of using the equipment was really helpful and gave me the confidence to get set up and running at home very quickly. I recommend going straight into the store on 1400 N in Logan in person and set up appointments and talk with them directly. If you call the phone number you will be routed through a corporate office and not directly to the Logan store/office. It was only after I spoke to the local Logan office directly that I was able get the level of personalized care that Dru provided. Otherwise, corporate wanted me to do the selection, fitting, and learning how to run the equipment through AI apps and YouTube videos with the equipment mailed to me a week later. Corporate also told me that a in person appointment was potentially weeks out. Later that day I was able to talk with Logan directly and they got me in next day, gave me the personalized instruction and fitting mentioned above a d sent me home with the equipment that day. I was very pleases with the Logan Alpine Home Medical experience and the care they provided me. 5 Stars. If you are more comfortable with in-person care, go talk to them in person, if possible, or ask to be connected to them directly it really reduces the learning curve. Initially, I thought I was talking directly to them, but t became clear as a talked to various people that I calleled or called me that I was not talking to the local Logan store. It was only after they wanted payment over the phone and I said I will drive over and pay in person that I learned that I was not talking to the local Logan branch. It was at this point I was connected directly to Logan and was able to set up an appointment and get in-person care that was more beneficial and more timely, and rose to the Standard level of care that I was expecting.
