I came in looking for some replacement parts for old equipment that needed a refresh and found them to purchase in stock (and available to order, if needed)! The team was kind and helpful, overall a great experience. Rather than throwing away gently used pieces, I am pleased that Alpine supports the concept of reuse!

The batteries in my Quantum needed to be replaced. Terry was the tech that changed them. He was able to get a reduced price which endeared him to us. He then put the batteries that he had replaced in to my older chair. It was no simple task but he pursued and accomplished what was needed. Terry is a real asset to your company. We are very grateful for his service. June 14, 2024 Yesterday Terry replaced the motors on my Q6. Terry went out of his way to get us the best deal possible, and he got it! We really enjoy having Terry visit us. He always accomplishes the tasks that we present him with. He knows what he is doing, does it well no matter what it is, and does it quickly and correctly. Terry us one of our favorite people. Alpine is lucky to have him. 5 Stars!

Was a good experience generally very helpful. Only thing I didn't like was my companion died June 8 got a call June 9 wanting to pick everything up and set time to do that but we still had to plan funeral out of town with no set date. Person who called was not very understanding about it so I hung up on them. Got a call few days later everything was returned. The men who picked it all up were kind and fast.

Serving the Unique Needs of Price Residents

Price is the county seat of Carbon County and the primary healthcare hub for a region of eastern Utah that covers hundreds of square miles of high desert terrain across Carbon and Emery counties. The city’s population sits at approximately 8,300, with about 18.5% of residents aged 65 or older. That’s a notably higher senior share than Utah’s statewide average of roughly 12.2%, and it reflects how important access to Price UT medical supplies is here. Provo and Salt Lake City are both about 90 to 100 miles away. For a family in Helper or East Carbon or out along one of the canyon roads, that’s not a quick trip.

Castleview Hospital at 300 North Hospital Drive is the primary medical facility serving Carbon and Emery counties, handling everything from inpatient care to outpatient procedures for the broader region. High Desert Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at 280 Hospital Drive serves patients recovering from orthopedic and sports medicine procedures nearby. Both send patients home with equipment needs, and at just a 5-minute drive from Castleview, our Price store is often the first stop families make on the way home.

Alpine Home Medical serves Price and the broader Carbon and Emery County area, including Helper, East Carbon, Castle Dale, and the surrounding rural communities, so that support is right here when people need it.

Frequently Asked Questions for Our Price Medical Supply Store

Do you deliver throughout Carbon County and surrounding areas?

Yes, we deliver all across Carbon County and the surrounding region, from Helper and Wellington to remote mountain communities throughout eastern Utah. Our delivery team knows the mountain roads and can find you whether you’re in town or living up one of the canyon roads. We include complete setup and instructions with every delivery, so you’re ready to use your equipment right away.

What insurance plans do you accept at your Price store?

We accept most major insurance plans including Medicare, Aetna, PEHP, Optum, Cigna, and many others. We also work with HSA and FSA cards for qualifying purchases. Our Price team can verify your specific coverage and help determine what’s included before you make any purchases, so you’ll know exactly what your costs will be.

Do you accept insurance, HSA, and FSA for medical equipment?

Yes. We work with a variety of insurance plans and accept HSA and FSA cards to help cover the cost of your medical equipment. Our team can check your benefits ahead of time so you know what’s covered before you make a decision

How close are you to Castleview Hospital for patients needing equipment?

We’re just a 5-minute drive from Castleview Hospital, making us very convenient for patients who are being discharged with equipment prescriptions. Many patients and families stop by on their way home to fill prescriptions for CPAP machines, oxygen equipment, or mobility aids their doctors recommended.

How do you handle oxygen concentrator maintenance in Carbon County?

Living in Price and throughout Carbon County means dealing with dry air, seasonal dust, and higher elevations—all of which can affect how your equipment runs. Oxygen concentrators in particular need a little extra attention in these conditions. Our team will show you how to clean and replace filters more often, keep your unit protected when not in use, and recognize when altitude may require equipment adjustments. With the right care, your concentrator will stay reliable and deliver the support you need day after day. And if you ever run into problems, our local staff is here to help troubleshoot and service your equipment close to home.

Do you provide equipment for people with lung conditions?

Yes. We provide oxygen therapy equipment, CPAP machines, and other respiratory support devices for individuals managing a wide range of breathing conditions. Many patients come to us with diagnoses such as COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, emphysema, asthma, sleep apnea, or even breathing challenges during pneumonia recovery. If your condition isn’t one of these, that’s perfectly fine. Our team can work with a prescription from your doctor to ensure you get the equipment that’s right for your health and comfort at home.
