How much does it cost to rent a wheelchair?

Rental pricing depends on the wheelchair type and rental length. Standard wheelchairs start at $35 per week, while heavy-duty models and accessory add-ons may cost more. Contact your local Alpine Home Medical for current rates and availability.

Do you deliver and set up wheelchair rentals?

Yes. We provide professional delivery and setup throughout Utah and Idaho for a flat $150 delivery fee. Our staff will adjust the wheelchair and accessories to ensure a safe, comfortable fit before you begin using it.

Are the wheelchairs cleaned and inspected before rental?

Absolutely. Every wheelchair and accessory is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and tested before each rental, so you can be confident your equipment is safe, reliable, and ready to use.

Are wheelchair rentals covered by insurance or Medicare?

Typically, wheelchair rentals are not covered by insurance or Medicare and are considered cash-pay items. However, you can use most HSA or FSA cards toward your rental. Our team can check your options and make the process simple.

What if I need to extend or return my rental?

No problem. Rentals automatically renew monthly and charge the card on file until returned. When you’re done, simply bring your wheelchair back to your local Alpine Home Medical or schedule a pickup, and we’ll handle the rest.
